Hope of Jalpaiguri Team Shattered by Bowler Firoj of Coochbehar in CAB Cricket

Webdesk, TNI Siliguri, 8th March, 2017: In the morning when there was a slight breeze blowing through the picturesque Chandmoni Cricket Ground of Siliguri. In such a pleasant ambiance Jalpaiguri District Sports Association cricket team went down to bat. With already 3 wickets down in the previous day JDSA was in slightly off the track. However, the overnight sleep also did not do any good for the team. In today’s innings rest of the 7 wickets went down scoring another 118 runs falling short of 10 runs from the winning score. JDSA score ultimately was 142 runs all out.

Thus Coochbehar District Cricket Association won the match by 10 runs. Firoj Mahato became the successful wicket taking bowler of Coochbehar by getting 6 wickets. Thus after two matches, SMKP and CDSA points are now level.
